I've seen some confusion surrounding this bed (and other similar models) here and elsewere. I've just purchased and assembled it, and have been using it for about 2 weeks. My impressions:

- The bed is very sturdy. I don't see this falling apart any time soon. It's also solid wood, which is more than you can ask of so many other platform beds in this price range.
- It does not come with what you or I would think of as a headboard or footboard. The headboard and footboard listed in the description are the portions of the frame that go at the head and foot of the bed. Some people have complained about this - if there's any confusion, check the product images. One is a picture of only the completed bed - no mattress, no sheets, nothing. That's exactly what comes with this purchase.
- The slats are spaced too far apart for use by themselves with memory foam. You can put some cardboard or thin plywood over them, creating the solid surface required for memory foam.
- 14 inches high DOES NOT MEAN THE MATTRESS WILL BE 14 INCHES OFF THE GROUND. This one got me. It's not quite 14 inches tall, and the slats sit a good 4.5 inches down into the frame, meaning that your mattress will start 9 inches from the ground. This was much lower than I was expecting. I know some people really like the low bed thing, but I'm not one of them. I'm currently looking into cheap foundations to toss between the mattress and frame, to raise the bed back to a reasonable height.
- The slats only fasten on one side. I've seen a lot of people complaining about this, but it's like that for a reason. The slats are slightly curved, to support your weight. They have to be able to move slightly once you lay on them, or else they'll just break. Alternate sides, fastening the first slat on one side, the second on the other, and so forth, and you'll have a sturdy bed.
- It's too big to come via FedEx or UPS. Instead, 3 very long boxes are shipped via a freight company - in my case, ABF. This adds one more layer of complexity, as they require you to schedule a delivery appointment. I guess the nice thing is that you don't have to worry about them coming while you're not home.

All in all, it's a great bed. I wish a few things in the description were a little more clear (height, etc.), but I won't be sending it back by any means.

I read tons of reviews... and maybe I'm a special case but did not find any of the bad comment and reviews to be true about this bed... 1. the center legs do touch the floor and have not broken on me yet... and ive been jumping on the bed trying to prove the reviews RIGHT!!! 2. the bed is not too high/short... you can kinda of control that... if you want it to be higher, arrow up... lower, arrow down. 3. the quality of the wood is spectacular... simply beautiful... alot nicer than beds in it's price range. 4. the beams that run across the bed are meant to act together not seperately... so if you step on one trying to screw them in yes it will break. But other than watching where you step it's sturdy and finally 5. I put the bed together myself very simple instructions to follow (although I do recommend a power drill) and I'm not mechanically inclined. All in all it's a beautiful bed and I'd recommend it to anyone one a budget or just looking for somethins simple. :)

I have purchased in the last year two of the units that attach to your faucet. The first one developed cracks and thought this was a fluke but this also happened to the next one. Has P&G decided to make garbage because these units never developed cracks years ago. Maybe P&G needs to recall all of these garbage items. Still have filters but is it worth the effort to buy the unit to hold them if thay are going to crack in 6 months. All PUR units are not worth the money. If you buy be prepared to buy again in 6 months. Should last longer than that.....

I have to state that I contacted P&G about the units cracking and they said they will send me a replacement unit. I must say that is good customer service. So I changed 1 star to 3 star. Hope this new one doesn't develop cracks in the unit. I would recommend that you contact P&G and see what they can do for you. I did and the customer service was excellent. Sometimes we forget that companies like P&G want a good reputation. Maybe the unit was bad but P&G was willing to fix the problem which shows that they care for their customers....

The water that comes out of this filter taste absolutely wonderful... however you will go mad trying to keep the hardware installed on your faucet. After about 3 weeks the PUR hardware starts falling, or should I say exploding off the faucet spraying water all over the kitchen in the process. I've tried plumber tape, and it helped prolong the life to about 4 weeks, but as of week 5 I cannot even get a glass of water out of this thing without it exploding off of the faucet. So I've no tried only putting the filter on the faucet when I need clean, great tasting water and that worked for another day, and now even that will not get me a glass of water.

the problem with this hardware is that the weight of the filter is NOT evenly distributed, and the resulting leverage force of this unevenly distributed weight is placed upon a plastic faucet connection. The plastic threads of the connector flex and bend and the entire filter eventually starts falling off of the faucet.

I hope PUR fixes this design because the water taste good. I am returning this filter because it is a defective design that does not work.

I have to concur with so many other reviewers. The nylon faucet adaptors are inadequate for supporting the weight of the unit. Like clockwork, after two months, the threads became compromised and the unit popped off the faucet, rendering it useless. Typical of the disposable products American companies are foisting on the public. Sadly, I (and I am sure many others) would be willing to pay more money for a higher quality product. Clearly Procter & Gamble prefers to manufacture this junk, priced low enough to dupe consumers into thinking they're getting a bargain - more to add to the overflowing landfills. Don't even think about purchasing any replacement filters - this thing will NOT last long enough to require a replacement filter. Awful, awful, awful.

This 2500 rpm drill is much lighter weight than my twenty year old 3/8" magnum yet has plenty of power and the high rpms for cutting plug holes in ipe decking. But it has two glaring downsides.

The forward/reverse switch, located just above the speed trigger, is much too easily accidentally moved from the forward to the reverse position when removing your hand after a drilling operation. The detents that should firmly secure it in place are practically non-existent so that the slightest pressure moves it into reverse. Being so close to the trigger, this, for me, allows this unwanted reversal to occur much too often. However, I've developed the habit of blind checking this switch's position with my off hand before the next drilling operation so it's not a big problem. Much worse, the keyless chuck locking mechanism is not of the ratcheting type as it is on my Bosch 18v cordless which allows increasing the chuck's hold pressure as much as is needed, but has only two degrees of locking, the strongest one being much too weak. There have been too many times that it has, under heavy pressure, allowed the bit to slide up into the chuck. Thank God my plug cutter has a hex shank. If a round shank, clearly the cutter would spin in the chuck which would be a disaster.

We ordered the Milwaukee 3/8 inch drill to build a garden shed. I have been waiting for this for 3 years and finally it is taking shape. When my husband finally gets to work, he builds to last til the millennium. Nails aren't good enough - we must have screws. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been before the electric drill was invented. This tool makes the job fast and easy. We have had no problems even though it is a rebuilt drill.

I have to say that this does not make the blood jump right out at you. Really if you have a good flashlight which costs a lot more than this one it would be better. My brother used his police flash light and it worked better. If you were in a field with just dirt I would imagine it would work great. Then again any flashlight would. I hate giving bad reviews but I am not overly impressed.

I purchased this light with more than a little concern about wasting my money. I have used this to track 2 deer now and have been very please with the performance. I would not classify this as a miracle product, as some have, but I do not feel like I have been taken either. This product does show blood very well but it requires you to change the tracking method most of us practice. I found it to be of no advantage to locate blood within a foot or two of my feet (no better than a bright flashlight) but the ability to pick up blood at 4 to 6 feet was greatly enhanced. I would recommend this product but I would not classify this as a must have product.

This is a first rate soldering station with ESD (grounded tip) protection and digital temperature readout. If you are serious about your soldering--this is an excellent choice.

After years of laboring with a 'cheap' soldering pencil, I finally broke down and bought a first rate station. The final straw was when I noticed that the cheap pencil iron I was struggling with was beginning to melt and the handle was becoming just a bit too hot to hold--ouch! If you spend much time doing electronic assembly work--do yourself a favor and invest in quality tools. They will pay for themselves many times over.

Product shipped on time. Easy to assemble and use. Heats up very quickly. The temperature adjustment with the digital readout is a nice feature. You quickly learn what the best setting is for your work. The cord for the iron is over 3 feet long, the advertised picture makes the cord look short. I would recommend this product.

I have used this iron for multiple projects and find it to do a fantastic job. The digital temperature is really handy. I do recommend you get a smaller tip if you plan to do surface mount work though. The tip provided is of the 'screwdriver' variety, and can be somewhat clunky at times.

My wife is picky about the vacuum cleaner. I live in a small converted 2br in NYC, with one roommate and no carpets. While our apartment isn't big, with two girls there tends to be a lot of hair so it needs to be cleaned regularly. This vacuum is perfect. I didn't want anything that had rollerbrushes because they just tend to get clogged with hair and get disgusting, and because this vacuum has a bag it is easier to clean out every couple of weeks. So much better than emptying a dirty, dusty bin! The suction is great, power is great, and the fact that you can press a button with your foot to retract the cord just makes it even greater. I recommend this if you live in a smaller apartment especially if you only have small area rugs or bare floors, I don't think this would handle full carpeting very well.

My wife is picky about the vacuum cleaner. She had a 1993 Dirt Devil that we kept going with jury-rigged switches and duct tape for about a decade after it should have been sent to the junk pile, but it was exactly what she needed...so when this new one came, it had a lot of prejudice to overcome...and did. She used this one once and said goodbye to the old one.

I live in a small converted 2br in NYC, with one roommate and no carpets. While our apartment isn't big, with two girls there tends to be a lot of hair so it needs to be cleaned regularly. This vacuum is perfect. I didn't want anything that had rollerbrushes because they just tend to get clogged with hair and get disgusting, and because this vacuum has a bag it is easier to clean out every couple of weeks. So much better than emptying a dirty, dusty bin! The suction is great, power is great, and the fact that you can press a button with your foot to retract the cord just makes it even greater. I recommend this if you live in a smaller apartment especially if you only have small area rugs or bare floors, I don't think this would handle full carpeting very well.

I've been running this card in my win 7 64bit system for about a month now without any problems. The hd 4890 runs at stock speeds of 850Mhz core clock and 975Mhz Memory. However, I'm running my card with a mild manual overclock speed of 900Mhz core/1000Mhz Mem. Since I'm running my monitor at its native resolution of 1920x1200, the 1gb ddr5 ram on the video card helps a lot when I play games. Some games that I play are Battlefield Bad Company 2, Starcraft 2 Beta, and Half Life 2 source games. Most, if not all of the games I play are on max high settings with 16xAF and 8x AA.

Temperature was not a problem for me partly due to my Antec 900 computer tower/case, which have 5 fans to keep things running cool. For other Antec 900 case owners, I'm using the optional cage fan and the Hd 4890 will still fit inside the case. My Hd 4890 idles on desktop at 50-51C with its fan on auto setting. Although my card is overclocked to 900/1000Mhz, the hd4890 will 'declock' itself down to 240/1000Mhz while on desktop and viewing 2d applications. (It jumps up to roughly 500Mhz Core/975Mhz Mem when watching movies or youtube videos). I believe this is to save power consumption and temperature control. When playing video games, the hd 4890 will jump back to my overclock settings of 900Mhz core/1000Mhz Mem.

I do not have 2 pcie 16x slot on my mobo, so crossfire configuration setups were not an option. I believe this was an excellent upgrade from my old video card the 8800gt 512mb. Even though this card lacks dx11 features, it will run new games in dx 9 and dx 10 modes. (You'll just miss out on some tessellation features though). If you're in need of a video card now and looking for a single card upgrade solution and do not care for direct x 11 features, this card is a really nice choice.

If your getting this card because it is cheaper compared to other cards of the same model you will end up being disappointed. Sure its good while it works and the lifetime warranty is nice but you'll end up sending it for repairs and spending more money over time than with other cards. I have 1 XFX card and 1 Biostar card bought at the same time and the XFX card has needed to go in for repair twice already while the Biostar has been working perfectly.

This Card Rocks!!!

The Card is great and move very good all my games (WOW, Crisis2, Ghost Recon, etc...) the only issue is that the bundle game doesn't came included I call XFX and they say that almost a year ago they don't sell this card with bundle, send a email to tigerdirect but after 2 weeks I got 0 answer from they "Customer Service".
On a Few Works, Great Card but no Bundle Game and 0 support from seller.
