I've been running this card in my win 7 64bit system for about a month now without any problems. The hd 4890 runs at stock speeds of 850Mhz core clock and 975Mhz Memory. However, I'm running my card with a mild manual overclock speed of 900Mhz core/1000Mhz Mem. Since I'm running my monitor at its native resolution of 1920x1200, the 1gb ddr5 ram on the video card helps a lot when I play games. Some games that I play are Battlefield Bad Company 2, Starcraft 2 Beta, and Half Life 2 source games. Most, if not all of the games I play are on max high settings with 16xAF and 8x AA.
Temperature was not a problem for me partly due to my Antec 900 computer tower/case, which have 5 fans to keep things running cool. For other Antec 900 case owners, I'm using the optional cage fan and the Hd 4890 will still fit inside the case. My Hd 4890 idles on desktop at 50-51C with its fan on auto setting. Although my card is overclocked to 900/1000Mhz, the hd4890 will 'declock' itself down to 240/1000Mhz while on desktop and viewing 2d applications. (It jumps up to roughly 500Mhz Core/975Mhz Mem when watching movies or youtube videos). I believe this is to save power consumption and temperature control. When playing video games, the hd 4890 will jump back to my overclock settings of 900Mhz core/1000Mhz Mem.
I do not have 2 pcie 16x slot on my mobo, so crossfire configuration setups were not an option. I believe this was an excellent upgrade from my old video card the 8800gt 512mb. Even though this card lacks dx11 features, it will run new games in dx 9 and dx 10 modes. (You'll just miss out on some tessellation features though). If you're in need of a video card now and looking for a single card upgrade solution and do not care for direct x 11 features, this card is a really nice choice.

If your getting this card because it is cheaper compared to other cards of the same model you will end up being disappointed. Sure its good while it works and the lifetime warranty is nice but you'll end up sending it for repairs and spending more money over time than with other cards. I have 1 XFX card and 1 Biostar card bought at the same time and the XFX card has needed to go in for repair twice already while the Biostar has been working perfectly.

This Card Rocks!!!
The Card is great and move very good all my games (WOW, Crisis2, Ghost Recon, etc...) the only issue is that the bundle game doesn't came included I call XFX and they say that almost a year ago they don't sell this card with bundle, send a email to tigerdirect but after 2 weeks I got 0 answer from they "Customer Service".
On a Few Works, Great Card but no Bundle Game and 0 support from seller.
