Dirt Devil SD30040BI Review by Paul E. Guinn "Business Strategist" (Longview, TX USA)
My wife is picky about the vacuum cleaner. She had a 1993 Dirt Devil that we kept going with jury-rigged switches and duct tape for about a decade after it should have been sent to the junk pile, but it was exactly what she needed...so when this new one came, it had a lot of prejudice to overcome...and did. She used this one once and said goodbye to the old one.
Dirt Devil SD30040BI Review by Jolanta Maria Onufruk "Jolanta Onufruk" (New York, NY USA)
Pros: small-excellent choice for small spaces, great suction, looks good,
Cons: none
I'm very happy with this item. Great product for a low price. I used to have Hoover (also cheap bagged canister) but It wasn't nearly as great as this one.Definitely would recommend it
Dirt Devil SD30040BI Review by emjohns09
I live in a small converted 2br in NYC, with one roommate and no carpets. While our apartment isn't big, with two girls there tends to be a lot of hair so it needs to be cleaned regularly. This vacuum is perfect. I didn't want anything that had rollerbrushes because they just tend to get clogged with hair and get disgusting, and because this vacuum has a bag it is easier to clean out every couple of weeks. So much better than emptying a dirty, dusty bin! The suction is great, power is great, and the fact that you can press a button with your foot to retract the cord just makes it even greater. I recommend this if you live in a smaller apartment especially if you only have small area rugs or bare floors, I don't think this would handle full carpeting very well.
