As has been stated in an earlier review for this product, I also do not see a difference in the yellow terry cloth "scrubber" as opposed to the white cloth. I would, however, recommend this product overall. I got the "kit" because it seemed cheaper with S&H and you get the extra cloth as opposed to just ordering the single mop. I would recommend you order at least one set of extra replacement cloths because you will most likely need them. I used all 5 of mine in a tiny apartment cleaning a kitchen, foyer, and bathroom.

How to use: You run a cloth under water, wring out excess water, place the cloth on the base (the cloths have elastic) and spray the cloth with whatever cleaner you wish.

Disadvantages: When I opened the packets, there was an awful chemical smell from the cloths, and when I ran them under water, it was overwhelmingly bad. Once I washed them, this thankfully went away.

Also, you will not be able to reach in small places with this mop as you would with a regular size mop. You will need to use another method to get in small places, such as behind a toilet.

Advantages: Floors dry FAST. I think the average dry time was 4-5 minutes.

These are reusable, carbon foot print, and all that.

Saves money over the long haul, I do believe.

For me, it was a big deal not to have to buy Swiffer because the company engages in animal testing and I do not buy from companies that engage in that. (proctor and gamble)

I was impressed that the water did not run onto the base, stayed sanitary.

Price: Overall, it was worth it, I hope, but with the starter kit, S&H, and set of 3 replacement cloths, I still feel $49 was a bit excessive. I hope in the long haul it is worth it.

I LOVE my sh-mop!! It's big, which is great for me because we have miles of granite and wood floors in our home. I pull the terry cloth cover off, rinse it in the sink and then wring it out. I use a spray bottle to spritz the floor and then sh-mop it up- no messy bucket full of water sloshing around.

It covers alot of ground quickly and I simply just rinse the cover as I go and then throw it in the wash when it is dirty. Definitely get an extra cover as it is handy to have two so you can launder one and still have one to use.

I first bought the SH-Mop starter kit and the gold dust mop cover. I loved the way each worked but did not like changing the covers from dust mop to wet mop. So I ordered another set up to be able to leave the duster on one and mop with the other.worked out so well I ordered the 3 rd set up so I can have a dust mop on each floor. My home is two story 3200 sq ft, and I keep up with this easily with my Sh-Mops. I am 75 years old, and have mopped a lot of floors in my time but this is the best system I have ever used!
